Thank you for shopping with Perfume Trading Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). We take pride in supplying authentic wholesale fragrances and reliable service. If you need to return an item, this Refund & Returns Policy explains how returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds work.

Important (Wholesale/B2B): We primarily supply business customers. Returns are accepted only under the conditions below.

1) Returns Window

  • You may request a return within 3 days of receiving your order.

  • Requests made after this period may not be accepted.


2) Eligibility Conditions (What can be returned)

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused, unopened, and unaltered

  • In original packaging (including seals/labels where applicable)

  • In resalable condition

  • Returned with proof of purchase (order number/invoice)

We cannot accept returns for items that are opened, used, altered, missing original packaging, or not in resalable condition.


3) How to Start a Return

To request a return, exchange, or refund, email: sales@perfumetrading.co.uk and include:

  • Your order number

  • The reason for return

  • Clear photos/videos showing:

    • the item(s),

    • the issue (if any),

    • and the packaging (especially for damage claims)

If your request is approved, we will send:

  • return instructions,

  • return address,

  • and a label where applicable.

No authorisation = no return: Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted and may be sent back to you.


4) Return Shipping Costs

  • Change of mind / exchange: You pay the return shipping cost.

  • Damaged, defective, or incorrect items (our error): We cover return shipping and provide a label/instructions.


5) Damaged or Faulty Items (Report within 24 hours)

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If an item arrives damaged or faulty:

  1. Notify us within 24 hours of delivery

  2. Provide photos/videos of:

    • the product issue,

    • outer box and shipping label,

    • inner packaging/padding

Claims submitted after 24 hours may not be eligible for compensation because we may be unable to verify carrier-related damage.


6) Incorrect Item Received

If you receive the wrong item, contact us with your order number and photos.

Depending on the situation, we may offer:

  • Send the correct item and provide a free return label for the incorrect item, or

  • Issue a full refund once the incorrect item is returned and inspected, or

  • If agreed in writing, you may keep the item and receive a partial refund (case-by-case)


7) Exchanges

The quickest way to exchange is to:

  1. Request a return (if eligible), then

  2. Place a new order for the desired product once the return is approved.

(Exchanges are subject to stock availability.)


8) Order Cancellations

  • You may cancel your order before it has been sent for picking and packing in our warehouse.

  • If the order has already been dispatched, please wait for delivery and then request a return (if eligible) following this policy.

For cancelled orders returned after dispatch:

  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility (unless the return is due to our error).

  • No restocking fee applies.


9) Refunds

Inspection & approval

Once we receive your return, we will inspect it and notify you whether your refund is approved.

Refund timing

If approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 business days.

Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the refund. If more than 7 business days have passed since approval, contact us at sales@perfumetrading.co.uk.
